Mulch Refresh
Fresh mulch and clean beds, without redoing the landscaping
One of the fastest ways to make an existing Denver-area landscape look maintained again — beds cleaned up, edges defined and fresh mulch installed.
Faded mulch makes good landscaping look tired
Mulch breaks down. After a season or two of Colorado sun it thins out, greys and blends into the soil, and the beds lose the crisp lines they had when they were installed.
Weeds move in through the gaps, edges soften and the whole front of the house reads as unkept — even when the plants themselves are healthy.
A mulch refresh fixes the appearance without touching the plants or the layout you already have.
What a mulch refresh can include
- New mulch installation
- Existing landscape bed cleanup
- Weed removal and bed preparation
- Landscape edging where appropriate
- Old or deteriorated mulch refreshed or removed
- Bed reshaping and clean lines
- General landscape-bed improvements

FAQ
Common questions
- Do you remove the old mulch first?
- It depends on the bed. Sometimes thin, broken-down mulch can be topped; heavily built-up or deteriorated mulch is better removed. We'll tell you which applies at the estimate.
- What kind of mulch do you install?
- We'll go over the options that fit your beds and the look you're after when we scope the job.
- Can you do rock instead of mulch?
- Yes — rock installation is part of our landscaping work. See the Landscaping page for that scope.
- Do you serve my area?
- We work throughout the Denver Metro area, including Aurora, Centennial, Englewood, Littleton, Lakewood, Thornton and Westminster.
